| The importance of family and ethnicity/culture in my life: |
While I value and am thankful for the physical family through which i took birth in this incarnation, I place much more importance on the global family of humanity, the sangha, and the interconnectedness of all living beings, of all spirit souls having a human experience. In terms of ethnicity and culture, I believe that all peoples/tribes/groups of the Earth have something unqiue and special to give to the planet, and it is through these gifts that we learn understanding and how to revel in the bliss of diversity. |

| How I first got started with Buddhism: |
It was through the New Orleans Zen Temple, where I met some monks who taught me about Zazen practice back in 1995. Also, through the movie Kundun, which inspired my most recent pilgrimage to India, where I was hosted by a friend who acted on that movie. |

| Music that touches me: |
My favorite Singer of All Time: Jeff Buckley 1966-1997 (ecclectic, soulful, esoteric, passionate, humanitarian, poetic, angelic being whose spirit flew to Shamballa way too soon. ) I have diverse interests in music such as indie, folk, alternative, rock, metal, blues, and 60's. Here are a few: Tim Buckley 1947-1975 (Jeff's Dad) Morrissey The Cranberries Nirvana Alice in Chains Tracy Chapman Erykah Badu Cream Led Zeppelin Shoe Suede Blues The Monkees Jimi Hendrix The Doors Nina Simone Don Henley David Bowie Creedence Clearwater Revival |

| Why you should get to know me: |
If you're interested in Polyandry, it's like that Monkees song "You Just May be The One!" Let's drink decaf ice coffee or herbal tea at the coffehouse, run carefree in the rain, make some art sculptures, play guitar (I used to take lessons, which I'm hoping to start again!), sing shamelessly to what's on the cd player, be light & happy, watch the Twilight Zone marathons, and enjoy learning from life's experiences! |
 |
| More about who I'm looking for: |
Someone whose path runs into mine through karmic destiny, like a butterfly blown into a garden by the gentle winds of fate. Someone with whom I can grow in the Dharma, exchange ideas, lavish with affection, meditate with, laugh with, philosophize with, spend time in nature with, and evolve together by loving understanding and mutual rapport. |
